Oh Baby!

When it comes down to it, my favorite projects are always baby things. I think that's why I enjoyed these two projects so much. The green baby blanket is patterned off of Amy Karol's scalloped blanket in Bend the Rules Sewing. I made it a bit larger than the pattern and also quilted it differently. The fabric is Michael Miller. I really like this pattern and will definitely make it again. The other project was nursing stuff I made for a friend to give to her friend (follow that?). I had her pick out a yard of the fabric of her choice to make a nursing cover (rolled up in the photo), bib, and burpie. Cute, huh?

What a Cool Swap!

I have received some AWESOME aprons through swapping, but I have to admit that I am currently experiencing apron burn out. Leave it to Tracey over at Itching 2B Stitching to rescue me from apron monotony! She's hosting a craft tote/holder swap that I am so excited to take part in. We all are in need of cute storage!
