In the Works: My Partner's Swap Bag

The book

Contrast fabric & birdie sketch

Front bag panel with pleat and embroidery

Inside pocket

Even though my weekend was busy, I did get a start on my Amy Karol swap bag. I sketched out the embroidery pattern last week (inspired by my tennis shoes), measured & cut out pattern pieces, embroidered front panel, and pieced together bag & lining panels. I still have a lot of work to do, but happy to get started!

This is so cute. I am working on the embroidery now. I have so much school work due this week that I am not sure I will get to touch it again until Saturday, but one can hope, right? Great job and too cute. I should have a picture up of the materials tonight for my partners bag. I hope to have all pieces cut out by Wednesday. I will be spending this weekend working on about 3 swaps. yikes! I slowed down for May. Back to school work. I can't wait to see the finished product!

Very cute. I had planned on embellishing the bag I made, but decided the fabric was to busy, it would just be too much. :>)
